Global recognition for food standards

In June this year Prime Foods took on the challenge to meet the standards of the SQF (Safe Quality Food Standard). SQF is one of the few standards recognised all around the world.

Although at Prime Foods we have completed many different standards before, the pressure was on to achieve this standard. The timeframe was very tight, other certificates we have are not recognised as GFSI (Global Food Safety Initiative) certificates, and we were just starting to feel confident about running our business as a family owned operation again. It was a big audit for us and a big effort from our small team – but we did it!
