Prime moves to more sustainable containers

Here at Prime we are committed to improving our practices and finding new ways to be a more sustainable and environmentally responsible company.

We recently switched our freight containers to environmentally-friendly Chilltainers from polystyrene bins.

Chilltainers are 95-97% recyclable in standard paper recycling and eliminate the disposal and environmental costs of Polystyrene.

“We are always looking for new ways of operating more sustainably,” Prime Foods director Henry Studholme said.

“We are pleased to have found an alternative to polystyrene containers.”

Chilltainers are highly recyclable, carbon neutral and sustainable and are easy to assemble, safer and healthier to handle.

Not only that but they have proven thermal efficiency and temperature performance, which means better quality assurance for our customers!
